Japan-ASEAN Actions on Sports, commissioned by the Japan Sports Agency and implemented by Seijo University’s International Research Center for Sport and Gender Equality (SGE), have been featured as a best practice in UNESCO's Sport and Gender Equality Game Plan.

The UNESCO Sport and Gender Equality Game Plan was developed to support decision-makers in sports to design and implement evidence-based policies and programs that promote sustainable social transformation.

Japan-ASEAN Actions on Sports is featured as a best practice in Part Ⅳ, "Develop participatory, data-driven processes for gender-transformative sport".
